  2. I forgot to give my compliments to your garage. That's on heck of collection! I wouldn't mind having that in my garage, to take them out for a spin or simply just rest the eyes on them!

Latest news

November proved to be a terrible month for all of us at HMW as it claimed our good friend, and founder, Matt Drendel. A collector, racer, enthusiast, friend, father, son and husband…He meant a lot of things to a lot of people. Anybody who had ever been in contact with Matt knew he was an incredible ambassador of Porsche, and everything the brand stood for…What some people didn’t realize, is how that relationship started.

Following several painful losses behind the wheel of a Ferrari 355 Challenge, Matt and his father came to the conclusion that he needed one important ingredient to win races and it involved a silly, 40 year old, rear engine car from Germany. This proved to be a winning combination which led to a GT Team Championship in 2001 with G&W Motorsports in a Porsche 911 GT3-R and would ultimately pave the life-long relationship with Porsche.

To a lot of people Matt will be remembered for his camaraderie with the Porsche community, a lot of people will remember him for his smile and some might even remember him for his skilled hands behind the wheel of a car. Here at Heritage Motorwerks, we’ll always remember our good buddy that would bend over backwards for any of us, no matter the situation.

RIP Matt3
